Question Solid yellow budgies... Price?!?!

I am planning on breeding budgies... do the all yellow one sell for more?

Here in Australia budgies are quite common and all the mutations are the same price where I get them. English budgies are bigger and of course more expensive.
I'd expect to pay a little more for yellows though, since they are a little less common.

I once saw a lutino English budgie hen (bright, bright yellow w/ red eyes) on Hoobly for $50. I can't recall the details (age, hand-raised or parent-raised, etc.).

FWIW, I've see lutino and creamino American budgies at various pet shops quite frequently. In my area, it seems that $20 is the average price for a parent-raised budgie while hand-feds will go for about $40 in the shops.

Check to see if there is a budgie club in your area. You don't have to get involved in exhibiting; it's just a great place to get ideas and a mentor.
