Decisions, Decisions

I'm thinking about making a decision on whether or not I keep Clyde, my male tiel. Clyde is the tiel that I saved from starvation, n who knows all what else (I could name quite a few things!). I got him unclipped and very untamed without a personality. He was very quiet, too!

He's doing much better now, having a personality, singing, mimicking a few sounds, not drawing blood, and his bites aren't nearly as bad either, overall. However, I don't quite like the fact of having a male and female tiel, especially since Clyde has gotten very attached to Casey and will attack me if I'm handling Casey. He has gotten clipped again since his first clip only grounded him for a short time then he learned how to fly again. This second clip he was more 'ready' for and now can glide to the floor.

Casey really isn't completely attached to Clyde as she is still hanging out with Noel, and coming to me for scritches, though Clyde will follow her around everywhere less Noel is there to chase him off, if she so decides (usually only when I'm in the room however, so she's been getting used to having Clyde around).

So, because of a few of these reasons, I'm deciding on whether or not I want to keep him or to either trade or sell him. He certaintly is not a problem here, as if I really want to give Casey scritches I can just leave the room with her, even if he has a fit, and I'm sure I could tame him down more though I just don't believe this is the right fit.

Anyway, here is a pic of Clyde from a while back. He is a whiteface split pied.

Oh, n here are a few pics of Casey. She's a cinnamon pearl pied, that has been in this spot for a while now. She is still in this spot as I type, n it's late past her bedtime so she doesn't care to be bothered!

Clyde

I wished I lived closer. I'd take Clyde. We are adding on to our house,a 14 x 20 birdroom and it will be finished in about 30 days. I would love to give Clyde a home if you decided that he didn't fit in with your family.

Thanks all! Clyde is gorgeous though he is still a pest! I have been working with him slowly though. Came home today, checked on them and Clyde started to stretch out his wing, foot, and fan is tail some. I started my ''singing" as to see if there would be any other reactions. Casey started stretchin, then upon seeing Casey stretch out her wings some (not extending her wings though), Clyde half heartedly copied. Sometimes it's just great to watch the two!
