It's good to hear from you Craig. Lily sounds like such a sweetheart... you must have such a strong bond with her now. It's amazing that she was suddenly there for you in your time of need.
The UK doesn't have parrot 911, but I agree you should contact the RSPCA. We have that here too :)
Don't give up hope on Poppy, could you trace the sounds you're hearing to the house and have a sticky beak? I had the same suspicions when my budgie flew away, but I regret never checking the house I heard sounds from- it was the house she's disappeared over too!

yay! your back!! Lilly must be great! The same kind of thing happend to me when my budgie died....Bullie hopped on my finger for the first time but wouldn't come out of the cage but that was ok.
In the UK do you have anything like E-bay or trade me? you sell things there but sometimes people ask if you have seen there bird....dont ask for money but maybe offer an award. Ashling is right don't give up! If any of my pets ran or flew away I would still be looking for them 8 years later!

Yes, I still look out for my ferret, cockatiels, princess parrot, budgie etc who all escaped years ago. There are some incredible stories of pets reuniting, so I never give up hope.
