What plant is this? Is it safe?

We have about 5 of this bush/tree things growing around the house. I don't have a clue what it is and I would like to make sure it is tiel safe. There is one growing by itself in our backyard and I was planinng if it is safe to make an aviary for Maxy around it.

Your best bet is to take a branch of it with its blooms to a local nursery to have it identified for your area. Then look it up for parrot safety.

It has lovely draping leaves anyway. What a good suggestiont o take a branch to your local nursery. I've never seen that type of shrub before, but I live in the Ozarks.
