That is awesome to hear! I know there are more than a few species that are more plentiful in captivity than in the wild, so its awesome that the transition can be made backwards.
Off subject, but the only wild parrots I have ever observed were the conures that are wild in San Francisco, I searched all over the city to find them, starting at telegraph hill (the movie made me start there), disappointed I didn't see any, I was walking back to my hotel, and right before I got in, I heard them. I walked backwards to a park and found hundreds of the guys in a flock in a tree. I got within 3 feet of some of them, and it was one of the most surreal experiences I have had. |
