an alternative to teflon

my wife seems to have found an alternative to to using teflon or even steel. ceramic .any inputs. the product is by Starfrit Alternative "Eco Friendly Cookware"........ used it for about 3 weeks now.... superior to teflon in every way!!!!!!: boogie:

I'll have to give it a try. I use cast iron myself but the wife cant stand it!

Where did you get it?

it is called Starfrit Alternative Eco Friendly Cookware can can be found at Walmart.... and for the price i would recommend this product to anyone with birds.

the ceramic coating is extremely durable and a dream to clean.

basically the pan has a professional grade steel(and thick too)bottom. use very low heat. the ceramic is quite thick.

I think we already use ceramic... at least I hope so? Does anyone know... if you kept your birds away from teflon, but fed them food made on teflon cookware, would that be just as dangerous to your birds? I would think yes? Just wondering :D
