You really have to be certain that it cooks a while to kill germs. Usually scrambling is a pretty quick procedure. Eggshells are fairly often covered in salmonella germs. THE OUTLAW

I usually soak the eggs in a little GSE and water while the pan heats up. Then I rinse them off, and crack the eggs. It doesn't matter what size pieces you have, but I just like to crunch them in my hands. Its fun. THE OUTLAW
