Cute Bird Names?

Hello Everyone,

I am so excited about getting my new Rosebreasted Cockatoo in a month, I could scream! I have a Midterm tomorrow, but I can't even study for my class. My professor is probably going to kill me, but when she sees my new baby she'll understand.

Anyway, I am trying to figure out what to name the new baby. My fiance and I named our first bird Hermes, who is the Greek God of flight and mischief (very appropriate). We were thinking about naming our new Rosie "Apollo" (the god of poetry, but also jealousy ). However, I just don't know if it sounds right.

Right now the breeder calls him "Mickey" and he is so loving! He was also active and getting into everything, a little bit crazy!

I was hoping that you guys could tell me your favorite bird names! Its too bad they don't make "baby name books", except for birds! My bunny is named Cadbury, and she looks just like a Cadbury chocolate egg, it is so appropriate.

Also, that reminds me. The breeder can sell a "baby book" with your bird. It is basically a scrapbook of the bird that you bought from the time it was hatched until you pick it up. There are also blank pages that you can fill in. It sounds fun and silly at the same time, is that something you guys would do?

Sorry, sorry... I'm just so excited! (and I have to wait a whole month!)

I would definately get the baby book if available. It's something you can't change your mind about later, you know?

Sticking with Greek names (which I personally love since I have Greek heritage) if female I would have said goddess of flowers, Chloris, but since he's a he how about Dionysus, the god of wine?

Here's a great website with all kinds of names and their meanings. Maybe this will help.

When I was thinking up names for my galah/RB2, I had a whole bunch... But they're names I like, you may not.
Also, keep in mind that I didn't use any of these names because Luen's personality didn't match them and you may be better off naming your fid after you get them settled in and get to know them.

Okay, onto the ideas...
Lychee, Rascal, Bandit, Mochi (little pink japanese sakura cake XD also really close to my online name), Cupcake, Sora, Boing, Eerin (An Australian Aborigine name meaning 'little owl'), Gilaa (An Aborigine word for galah/RB2), Jazz, Rebel/Rebelle, Havoc, Chaos, Kakadu (Australian National Park), Uluru (Aborigine name for Ayers Rock), Dundee, Akubra.

Just the ones I can remember XD Lots of aussie names.
