i agree...go slowly. i changed rooms and going slowly seems to help, i put there play stand in there in the new room, and let them play for 2 days and let them go in more often on the third day then on the 5th day they were in and happy?

We had a bird room for a while,
Started out with just a few cages...then slowly grew till it was full of cages....We got lights...(birds need sunlight) What A Mess!! had to Clean that room every day (seeds and dust everywhere!) It was mostly cockatiels, and they are Dusty Birds! and we had too many in there, Not good for them. So I built a Huge aviary ![]() Now we have them all outside, Cept the Babies we are hand feeding, Oh, and one keet that our daughter rescued. Don't know where to put him.

Thanks for all the advice. I have decided to move them in there slowly. I clean bird poop and everything else every day all day, so to have it just in one area will be great. I am gonna slowly add plants(safe for them of course) to the room. Kinda their own area. They will still join us in other rooms as they do now. I am gonna add a tv in the corner, most of them love watching it with us, to keep them company when I have to leave the house. I feel like they will enjoy their own space when they are resting and so forth. I will be in there alot with them, I just cant stay away. I am just gonna give them their own "jungle". Hubby and kids think I have lost my mind.LOL

moving them around the house isn't much to worry about. Xcept watch out for AC vents and such...Don't wanna give them a Draft
When moving them from inside to outside, or viceversa you should be careful about the temp change. Do it when there isn't much of a differance in temps. |
