... no, apparently he rehomed it over the weekend :(... it's from the same person, it doesn't come with any birds, but I think Bella and Tiko will enjoy the time outside

Don't put any small mammals in with birds- what species were you thinking of, out of curiosity? Quails are a great idea- you'll love the babies, if you decide to breed! Looks like a great aviary all round! And FREE too!

Haha I know gotta love the free part .
But I had read (in numerous different websites) that you can have small mammals such a guinea pigs and rabbits in your aviary. You can't put 'rodent' type mammals such as mice and rats (they'll kill your birds, obviously). I have heard of many people doing it and wanted your guys' take on it.
heres a video I found on youtube: YouTube - Aviary buddies

But yeah, I know I will definitely get button quail , I saw some today 'cause I went to a bird fair (my first) and they had some really neat birds, and a lot I have only seen online. It was fun. I didn't get any birds though... But I got a Boing for the parrotlets (it was REALLY CHEAP, like $2) and I got a couple toys. I wanted to get some button quail, but I have seen them cheeper at other places + I don't have anywhere to put them.

guinea pigs are cool cause usually they arent nearly as aggressive as the rats, mice and hamsters. ive never had one try to bite me like those mean "rodents" do all the time, even the non-tame ones. cant say that i know someone who has them in with birds, but it seems like they would prob get along, especially if you buy a young guinea pig. it might be more the exception than the rule though....
