well, their mouths cant be too clean....like dogs, they can still lick their vents and they eat poo and who knows what else, since birds are experts at finding stuff we dont know is there, then they chew and/or eat it....

You have to have some kind of control. If I can do it with 27 why can't you do it with what you have. We're the parronts and they are the FIDS it's up to them to listen. What's a little screaming from time to time? You just ignore them and don't encourage them to continue.

My bird is pretty quiet, so I get a lot of peace. But he does mope around when I get onto him... sometimes it can go on all night! I usually give in just so I don't have to see him be sad! I know Sashagirl, I'm awful. I wonder how spoiled my children will be, when I finally have them... I'm sure it will be a mess. Maybe I need to work on putting my foot down now! :-)

We have no children either... atleast not human ones. In all actuality we have 5 todlers and one 9 year old very laid back kitty cat. Me & my husband both work full time. But we manage. Keeps us busy. I too feel crazy but I would not trade my birdies for anything. I wouldnt mind doing it full time, maybe one day. I hate leaving them in the morning.

LOL, when you have 55+ birds like us, it gets to be alot of poo!! especially when you have babies that are handfeeding, and birds that are nesting, the poo gets pretty nasty!! then you gotta remember that we have the dog poo, the snake poo, the turtle poo, the chameleon poo, and the fish poo too, thats alot of poo!! LMAO i love the animals though, been around 'em my whole life, dont know what its like to NOT have a ton of animals
