Well for those who have read a few of my posts I intend on becoming a avian vet, and I thought it would be a good Idea if I tried to get a co op (for those who don't know its when I go and work there for 2 periods each day for a semester) spot at the local vet clinic. So I handed in a application mentioning my parrots, dog, cat, rat, turtle, and chinchilla expirance and sure enough I got called back.
I had my interview today and did a few of the jobs a co op would do there, and she said I will most likely gett he spot because I have parrot expirance and some workers there dont. So I'm very happy about that I didnt expect to get it but she said I will prob be one of the 4, and theres 22 people apply for it! I really hope I get it I will find out Tuesday, and I'll post and here when I findout! ![]()

Parrot experience gets you everywhere in life ;D
Good luck, I can't wait for that post, I really hope you get in. I'd love to hear about your experiences! I wish I had the maths skills to help me become an avian vet. Is it 'easier' or 'harder' than becoming a 'normal' vet? I'm very interested in becoming one...
