Just Hatched (Guide Needed)

Hello to all,

I'm totally new here and I know nothing about bird related stuff. I really need some guide on this situation I'm facing right now.

Here's the situation, There's was a mother bird(I don't know what bird it is) on the tree in my garden which had a couple of eggs its incubating for a few weeks. And one day, a monkey came by and totally destroyed the nest so the mother bird was scared and flew away abandoning the eggs. At least that is what I think and saw because I can't find the mother bird around the area.

I found the nest on the ground with just an egg(unhatched yet) inside and put it aside for a while hoping something would happen. Then today, the monkey came again and I found another baby bird right below the tree. In my opinion, this bird is fed for a few days maybe but it's still so small. Besides that, the egg that I put aside HATCHED! (a little part of the beak can be seen). I'm glad I found them both because it rained right after that.

So now, I made a home for both the half hatched egg and the baby bird using a cardboard box and some dry leaves and grass to keep them warm.

The problem is how should I feed them ? What should I use to feed them ? What else should I do to keep them alive, safe and comfy ?
I'll post some pictures up later. Please do guide me on this, as I have no experience in this.

A monkey came by! I was like :o What country do you live in?
Are the babies parrots or other birds?
Put them in a glass tank if possible, as it retains heat a little better than cardboard. If not, cardboard is ok. As bedding, you can use a soft towel or soft clothes, shredded toilet paper, tissue paper or news paper. A heat pad or hot water bottle underneath their contianer can be used to keep them warm, with a lamp on top. DO NOT feed them milk at all. This can kill them, they cannot digest it. Try not to feed them bread. You will have to find out what species of bird it is before doing anything. Can you get a photo, a link to a bird that looks like them, or describe them please? You'll want to find a wildlife rehabber in your area to take them in and care for them properly. Hopefully someone will post the link of how to find a rehabber in your area. Or just type into google "your country- wildlife rehab"
You did the right thing in bringing them in. Hopefully they aren't endangered or threatened. Please keep us updated!

First of all, thanks for the reply kali and Ashling. Really appreciated it.

I put some tissue paper under the baby bird and it looks much comfy for it. But I really don't know what species of bird they are. Anyway, here are the pictures.
This is the baby bird

And here's the half hatching egg

I don't really think they are endangered species or anything. If you guys need any more pictures please do request. Thanks for the advice again guys.

I'm quite sure that is a dove or pigeon. Google what specis live in your area.
I found this, if it helps? This is only for if it is a pigeon though.
hatching egg... help!!!!!!! [Archive] - Pigeon-Talk
Feed it every 2 hours with the food at around 36 degrees, if you cannot get him to a wildlife refuge. Keep the lamp on them at all times, and a hot water bottle/ heat pad under, or they will freeze to death. They are too young to regulate their own body temperature.
What do you plan on doing with them?

I don't think the bird should be on it's back like that. I never saw baby birds sleep or rest that way and it might make it difficult for the bird to breathe.

36 DeGREES???!! For FORMULA???Try 99-104!!!! Its a dove baby. Temp under the heat lamp needs to be kept around 86-90 degrees. I dont know what country you are in but you can get handrearing formula at a pet store and follow the directions on the package to a T or you can either burn the baby inside or serve it too cold and it will not digest and spoil in the crop killing the baby
