Unknown Hybrid

I got this off of another board I belong to and they are not sure as to what type of cross this is. There are some pretty good guesses, but that is all that they are, guesses.
Just wondered if any of you would come up with a different suggestionas to what it could be.

Deffinitly part hyacinth....

Maybe a Hyacinth/greenwing...or green wing/B&G who mated with a hyacinth...

Neat looking bird, but its a shame that the genetics have been messed with

Yup I'd have to agree...there is definately part hyacinth in him, but don't know what else...He is really beautiful, but the hyacinths are already so pretty I don't know why someone would have to create a hybrid.

A Black Palm is a cockatoo, Not a macaw.

It is, unfortunately a Hyacinth cross with a buffons macaw...two very rare species that should be spending their time breeding with their own species rather than Hybridizing. The challenges of bringing a Hyacinth macaw to weaning age alone should be enough of a deterrent to any responsible breeder, to concentrate on repopulating the species, rather than take steps towards its destruction.

Tho, I will admit, it is a BEAUTIFUL bird!
