Question adopting a 7 yr old female U2!!! Any advice?

Hello all! I'm so excited to be adopting a precious female U2 named Kelly from a local rescue/shelter. I am currently owned by an 11month old sun conure, Huey and a 14 year old Indian Ring Neck, Zebe. I'm a little bit nervous about getting a 'too since I have heard so much about how they are so 'high maintinence' and all. So all I'm really looking for is TONS of advice...ANY advice...anything at all that you may think would come in handy. I sure apreciate it and thank you, thank you, THANK YOU in advance!!!

Run!!!
Kidding aside, if you read all you can and still think you're up to it; then go for it.
I'll have to say we recently adopted a M2 and I wished I had thought about it more ... and not let my husband make the final decision! I can barely breathe from the dust and I am the only one that gets up @ 5am to uncover & feed her! Oh and her previous owner never made her do anything she didn't want to do so can imagine what a brat she is?!

I adopted Morgan about 6 months ago. When she came here she wouldn't step up and would try to bite. I worked with her daily and finally got her to step up on my arm but she wouldn't let me move. I had to stand still with her for about 2 weeks. Finally she would let me walk across the living room with her but if I tried to sit down she bit.
After a lot of work she is now the biggest snuggle bunny. She lifts her foot when I walk by the cage so I can get her. She loves to sleep in my lap covered by a blanket and will do that for hours. If she's not under the blanket she hangs out on the arms my chair chair. I am blessed to have been able to give her a home. She is an amazing girl and even with all the hard work, the occasional screaming, (her, not me), I wouldn't take anything for her. She had issues when I got her, feather issues and food issues but is getting better everyday.
By the way, Morgan is 8 years old. Best of luck with your new baby.
