Today I had the good fortune of meeting Jazz the cape parrot (keyboard killer) and BethN. It turns out she was in Albany and went to the same bird store I go to. She had Jazz in a little travel cage and I got to see him. What a good looking bird he is. It was so fun meeting a bird board member in person and getting to see her parrot.

That is SO cool! In October I am flying to NH to meet MaBird, Helio, Harly, Rigby, vampire love bird, and her lovely boys and husband! I'm soooo excited! ! ! ! ! ! !

If your time goes anything like mine you will talk like you've been friends for ages. I knew from a post on another thread that she was heading over there sometime today but I didn't know when. Just the same I was watching for someone I didn't recognize to come into the store but she spotted me first. A man in clerics with a grey bird on his shoulder isn't too hard to spot. It was a lot of fun. I think you will have a great time in New Hampshire. MaBird seems to have a great family. Can you drop Scarlet off in Albany on the way?

Red, OMG I am in love with Ringo. Turquoise is my absolute favorite color and I have never seen a bird that color before, at least all over like that. Do you have any full view pics of him??? I would love to see.

Oh no! Can't take Scarlet...her grandma is keeping her that week. My roommate would take care of my doggie,,,but she is 23, and will forget that a 5 yr old dog is home alone at night and needs to potty,,,,Scarlet will be with my mom's 3 jack russells and little dust bunny she calls Buffy. And will be looked after. The Roomie is like not sure about the birds, I keep tellin her to go in my room daily and offer treats....and stop being so scared...

OH Mabird and I are so much alike in many ways even her husband has picked up on the similarities. I"m very excited about this trip! ! ! !! Just gotta get her to GA for a week afterwards. HEHEHEHHE

I went last year to the Parrot Palooza in Burlington, NJ. I met several members there and also listened to lectures by Dr. Irene Pepperberg,Sally Blanchard can't wait to go again this year.

That would have been cool :D It is great to meet members! I met Kali on the board and knew where she worked and I turned up (stalker-like) at her shop one day with Ashling. We organised had a play date with our birds and it was great fun :D Kali's cool and her birds are sooo cute!!!
