Oh, I wanted to do that SO bad when I was a youngster. The camp 15 years ago was not quite as expensive, nor as cool. But they did have the Shamu specialization if you were a certain age or it was your second year.

Ah. . .back when I thought I could make the grades in science needed to become a marine mammologist. . . .

Am Very VERY jealous of you.

Oh no!!! That upsets me a lot!

Shamu was my first real love. Zelda the cockatiel was my second. I was VERY close to not being a bird person, if only our backyard had room for an orca enclosure

Yeah it was so sad! I was the last camper to get to feed her actually :( She showed signs of sickness Wednesday and then Sunday she died.

I went to the camp because I'm going to be a marine mammalogist, and eventually a trainer at SeaWorld.
