wow that's big! What the heck were they feeding them?! hah You are right though, I guess most people think their fish will die before they get that big. =P

alright....today i got some aquarium background :) and some HUGE amazon swords (i didnt realize they were that big!!) and i went ahead and got some zebra danios to start up the cycle. i HAD to put the huge goldfish in there too :( long story on him....

anywho, here are some updated pics :) it actually looks like an aquarium!! im VERY pleased with the wood and the swords, i need a few smaller plants though, and possibly more gravel...

Really nice tank, I dont think i will ever do a tank again though, when I lost my favorite angel I took all the rest of the fish back to the pet store and said here take them and drained the tank. I got so tired of losing my fish no matter what I did.
I wish you luck with your tank, have you thought about parrot fish?? hehee then you would have 2 types of parrots LOL I know *groan* hehee

here is my angel that I lost, I still miss him :(

awww, i love the angel!! too bad he passed away :( he was beautiful :)

ok, so i tested my water again today at the store....turns out this driftwood that i wanted so bad brought my PH down alot!! LOL, so the guy gave me some crushed coral and told me to stick it in the filter, which i did today, he said that would bring it back up and keep it up, even when i do water changes :) much better than using the PH drops!!

my tank is still in the beginning of its cycle too, i cant wait til its OVER!! i want my pretty fish :( the wait is on.....

we just have giant danios in there, as starter fish, but honestly, i dont wanna trade them in!! i think they are pretty, and they are really fun to feed :) they dart around super fast everywhere trying to get all the food they can, its like a feeding frenzy!!

we also bought a brand new light strip with two awesome new light bulbs, and we got brand new glass canopies!! the tank looks so much cleaner and better now, and the lights are really bright, no more dark, dingy tank

so little by little, we are getting there :) now for the cycle to even out.....
