Any health food store will carry it. I clean everything with it. I just cleaned my carpets today and used it in the carpet cleaner. When you clean cages and perches you have to make sure they dry before you put birdies back in. I have heard it can irritate their sensitive skin. I have been using it for about a year and half and have not had any problems. Good Luck with your crisis.

When I had a baby Raven , I'd feed her a mixture of quality dog food, egg, sometimes meat, water, krummies (fine cereal) weet bix, apple purree and other vegies mashed up and all blended until smooth. Keep it in the freezer in portions and just reheat it and feed when needed. I also offered mealworms (boil first, they can eat through baby's crop!), chicken, beef, lamb, pork etc. Nothing processed. You can also offer crickets, earthworms and such. I gave my Raven a mouse I had killed (I stomped on it-ew) and it taught her how to kill and eat small animals. She had a great time ripping out its insides and picking at it. Give him towels to sit in- lots of washing up, but it's the best for them.

I have aristo pet bird lice and mits spray that I use on my tiels, lorikeet, budgie and chickens and it is safe. Never use other animal products on birds, as they are so sensative. I hope someone can take this little birdie for you, but it's a great thing you're doing. Keep the bub at just below normal temperature as the mites will make him weak and have a bowl of water with him (not one he can drown in, but big enough thah he can fit his whole beak in) It will also keep humidity up. Here is a good site for corvid raising, helped me out lots- TheRaven's Aviary - Raising a Corvid

I'm glad that he's doing so well! Seems as if you've already mastered how to feed him! Just do it every couple of hours, even though he will beg constantly! (I've raised baby finches, and they think they're hungry 24/7, even right after a meal)
As for the mites, I would use what Ashling suggested, but nothing else. I've heard that the mite sprays at petstores are actually really bad for our birds, and can end up having ill side effects.
