Yeah, round cages are definitely a no-no. Birdie nails can get caught up at the top of them where all of the wires come together.

I couldnt find the quaker, but geez how much are cockatiels for sale over there!! $600 for a lutino! and $320 for a grey! I have seen some silly prices in some petshops in Australia, the chains usually but geesh thats wow! I got my lutinos for about $50-$80 I think and sell the greys for $70 each trained.

Sorry for not providing an update sooner, I did not end up getting him. I was suposed to go get him when I got home from work the following day but he had left me a message at home stating he said he already sold him, even though he new I was coming that night. I hope he did sell it and that it ended up with a bird person. I fear because of the cheap price it could end up with a novice or new owner that wouldnt know any better for the poor baby...
