Anywhere is better than his home, if he can do that to a 'beoved' pet. I'd swap my huge plasma tv and then some to get that bird out of there.

That is so sad! However, if you look at the huge cage, numerous toys, great feathers, etc. you can see that this bird wasn't abused at all. So the macaw must have had a good home!

Agreed. That just makes the whole thing stranger for me though...

I gather economy isn't great so some have to sell their birds, some people don't have the time/inclination to spend time and interact with their birds any longer, some people move to smaller homes, some have babies and can't juggle the time... but because you just fancy a bigger tv?

I guess each to his own, but that just rubs me the wrong way. We're meant to make life time commitments to our birds and stand by that commitment unless we are seriouslly unable to, no?

there's a dart boARD IN THE CORNER OF ONE OF THOSE PICS...

why doesn't he just put that up and use it for enjoyment instead??

gorgeous bird.

i have a 46" LCD! well..... luke does.. but i doubt he'd complain about swapping it for such an awesome bird. who needs tv when you have that to look at????

and he's only got 2 toys in there that i can see..

Yep for sure, I even bet that no matter how nice of a TV he ends up getting, that it won't have as good color as that beautiful bird, and everytime he watches some animal show where a bird is portrayed he will kick himself for the stupid mistake he made.

I HAVE a nice DLP tv, and since I have had Hannah my B&G living in my home I watch her more than the tv..........LMB

big tv's are pretty cool though, specially when they're hooked up to the playstation 3!!

*be's proud of possessions*

although if there was a fire, first thing i'd do would be to save my birds, the tv could be replaced!
