Wanted to share some pictures of Ace

Hello all! I have been posting some in the Ringneck forum but just recently ventured out to other parts of the board. I am new to bird board and am happy to see so many friendly bird lovers!

I wanted to share some pictures of my Indian Ringneck Ace, who was shipped to us from a wonderful breeder in Alabama on June 13th! His hatch date is 4/1/08 and he is DNA sexed Male. He is just such a wonderful bird, stepping up, giving kisses, and sharing our food (the non-salty, non chocolate kind of food haha).

Ace is a Mother's Day gift for me, my husband (Nathan) wasn't thrilled about getting him but knew how much I wanted him! But lo and behold, Ace has a very special relationship with him, cuddling, head bobbing, and calling for him whenever he leaves the room. Nathan swears that Ace "makes" him kiss him back haha, but I know Nate is forming a special bond with him.

Anyway, on to the pictures!

And the love birds lol

What great shots, Jessica! You can just tell that Ace is quite a character (and having captured Nathan's heart already is a good thing). I am so happy for you

Thank you everyone!!!

His parents are a Turquoise and Blue/Green (from what I remember the breeder telling me). He is gray with a hue of blue... you can't really see the blue in the pictures because of the flash but it shows in person (you can sort of see it in my siggy pic because it was taken without flash, but its pretty small).

I really like the blue and the green variations, but when I saw his little face, gray is my new favorite color!

Awwwwww..... Ace. What a little cutie-pie
They are soooooo innocent when they're young
And then they grow up to be a snuggly pit-bull angel when the hormones kick in
Ace will be your friend for life - Ringgies are something to experience if you give them the time and love they deserve and crave.
