Our birds & their music!
We all have them, beautiful birdies who when they hear a certain song or artist just can't stop chirping, squeaking, and singing happily!
Post your fid's favorite artists or songs here, and discover new tunes that your bird might enjoy. I'll start! My lovie lydia can't get enough of: Bob Dylan Joanna Newsom (maybe it's her high-pitched sing-songy voice!) And surprisingly- techno/trance! (hehe a little raver like her mommy.)

Matilda likes ballads/divas. She's a bit of a diva too though.
I think Lily likes faster songs. There's a certain advert on tv that uses a song that has a really fast beat that she bops up and down to when it comes on. I'm gonna test her out a bit more tomorrow now it's got me curious. She didn't seem to like Jack Johnson much the other day...

All the birds enjoy a wide range of music. I don't know yet about the 2 'tiels we recently acquired, but these are the 'go crazy' loves of our other two. We get stuck listening to a lot of tv/movie songs for them.
Our U2 loves the soundtrack from "Eddie and the Cruisers", the theme from "Animaniacs", and "Colors of the Wind" from "Pocohontas". The 'tiel we've had since November likes "The Entertainer" and the theme from "Addams Family" (old version).

the too's seem to enjoy music more than the rest of the fids. Anything with a fast beat gets them hopping all over, usually ends up in some screaming...I'm sure my neighbors love it though.

So far Echo has not picked a fave song. But he does like the ring tone that I have for my husband. I have been trying to get him to sing it but I has not happened yet. Oh it's the song oh oh oh it's magic!

My birds like pretty much anything. The keets love rap/hip hop for some odd reason, don't shut up if it's on. The tiels are more country, oldies and rock fans. They like the slower music for some reason. I watch "Don't forget the lyrics" on Sunday nights and they all sing like crazy whenever the music is playing..that and during commercials..pretty much anytime there is music of some sort. Zeke loves American Idol when it's on. I would take him out of the cage and we would watch it and he would whistle "Old MacDonald" (the only thing he sings) while the people were singing on TV.
