wowowowowow! Ahh all those macaws! The golden conures are superb! So bright! The black cockatoo was probably my favorite pic- I just love their sweet faces, always smiling.
Well, I'd keep some gaurd dogs too! (do you know what breed?) Where is this place? I'd love to go.

hehe your girls are so cute. Terrorizing that poor old man Daisy. It's funny how cockatiels can be so intimidating to larger creatures. Matches is 2-3 times his size! It's a pity for my two tiels that they can't intimidate Ashling, much as they try.

Does this man just keep birds, or breed and sell them as well?

Aw, so cute! I have an 18 year old 'tiel that I've had since he was about 6 months old. He has his "grumpy old man" moments but for the most part you'd *never* guess his age by looking at him!

Lol neither did I haha. It's funny we have golden conures and hawkheads but not parrotlets?? Go figure. Yeah its near Grafton in NSW, the guy that owns it is going to Dublin next year to talk at something? Steve Martin is talking there too (the bird guy not that actor lol). He had about 6 rotties that were the guard dogs and one rottie was a friendly pet...their alarm system is about 6 chiuaua's lol cos his wife breeds them, they came to greet us at the gate with barks.

He breeds the birds, he told me if I had $7,500 with me I could have taken a B&G macaw that had just been hand weaned and ready to go cos the owner pulled out..DAMMIT WHY DIDNT I HAVE $7,500 ON ME!! lol.

yeah poor Daisy, well...he starts the fights...Matches will only try bite beetle because she wont bite back, beetle always ends up winning cos she doesnt let matches get her way either though, just through non violence...any tries to have a go at matches she goes all wussy lol but if any other bird tries to have a go at beetle she'll fight back but never starts them.

Yeah that black cockatoo was so funny, everywhere we walked around that aviary he would be there lol. The mouliccan cockatoo's were so awesome too! One of the mouliccans and one of the greenwings were having a screaming match, so funny!
