Pictures Of The New T-stand And Plygym

Started building them today. The T-Stand is done but the plygym is still a work in progress. I plan on putting a swing from the top most perch, a large boing from the 3rd level down to the bottom most level, comfy perches, ladders and toys every where. Let me know what you guys think. Excuse the mess I didn't clean up yet. :D

How big is the bird/birds that are going to be on the playstand? You may need more vertical supports, sorry if I sound picky but I am a Union plumber/pipefitter and I have assembled many a thing like that and I can give you some pointers if you want. I really like the creative design though, you did an awsome job, does the top sway any?.......LMB

Almost zero sway at all. If you look closely at the picture you will see that every fitting has been secured with a 3/4 self tapping screw which really sucks the entire structure together (most of them are on the undersides of the fittings). I have test ran the playgym by allowing my senegal and quaker on it at the same time. Pretty confident in my design but I do appreciate your concern, I would not want anything bad happening to my babies.

I have special sand paper called sand blaster that I use on all the surface that the birds will walk on. That serves 2 purposes it roughs the pvc up because it is very slippery to the bird if you do not and also it cleans it some. Then I wash it in a vinegar and water solution,

They serve several purposes. This is the fourth one I have built, the screws seem to give the entire structure more strength, it makes it modulre so I can change it later if I want to, and uses no glues to make my babies sick. We all know how sensitive these guys are to chemicals. So overall I think its a much better solution.
