Sunny is freaking me out >.<

Well he is generally a quiet bird, but for the past couple days he just randomly starts screeching. First it was normal, I'd just leave the room and he'd screech a lot. But today he keeps doing it at random times, like when he's perched on my hand or shoulder. Then a couple of times he'll be fine, and he'll screech really loud and fly to the ground. Also, his poop has been on and off brown and oily. Before, someone said this was normal, but I am not sure if it is. It will go back to normal, but then it will happen again. Could it be the food he is eating? He has a mix of nuts, dried fruit, seeds, some vegetables, and some other stuff. It's by the brand "Kaytee." Could it be his diet? He's freaking me out! Can you tell me what you think is going on?

Have you called your vet to see what s/he says about the poop? I think I would try to get his/her opinion if nothing else. Sometimes my birds will have off colored poop from something I fed to them ie blueberries but I don't know about oily? I would be concerned too. Not that I haven't panicked for no reason before. Sometimes, I think they get a thrill out of scaring the tar out of us.
