And with my Our lifestyle we would do best with a Tiel. My mom had bought a bird cage a couple of weeks ago from our neighbor, $10 for a cocketiel cage. Unfortunatly we won't get a bird untill i prove i can keep my grades up. so that means after first grading period halfway through my first semester. which is somtime in october or november. The cage is my incentive to get good grades, no 3.5 or above GPA no bird. It's easy for me to keep up in school. Ive been reasearching since i was about 10 years old. now im 15 and my mom is finally getting me a bird. She can be slow on the uptake somtimes. So how are you bird lovers doing this fine day?

Thats exciting, I got my eclectus, Dewey, for my 16 birthday! That was a good b-day, no Bentley lol but a hand painted Gotz doll and my baby

I had wanted one forever, I had bought the cage toys perches ect, I went and met a bunch of diff ekkies both male and female but none seemed to be my ekkie.

Then I saw a posting on Recycler, with the cutest little baby boy, and I contacted the breeder to ask about him and to make sure he was reputable, but my Mom wasnt going for it since it was quite a drive to go get him, but to my surprise a couple days after my birthday my Mom told me to get in the car and we can all guess how that story ended

It's going to be hard waiting that long, have you picked out a breeder yet?

Congrats on picking a tiel! They really are the best birds and I'm saying this after mine have been driving me crazy all day long, lol. Today was one of those days where I couldn't wait for bed time.

I got Ashling when I was 15 (a month before my 16th!) haha. It's so excellent how much time/ patience/ research you've put into getting a bird! You're to be commended. Ashling was an impulse buy, and I'd had birds for years so I should have known better lol.
My mum's a sucker when it comes to animals, lucky for me :D You're going to really care well for your new bub when you get it. Can't wait to hear all about it and see LOTS OF PICS!
