What is it with toes?

I have a U2. And I've heard and read about toos and toes? What is it with this and is it just toos?
Rico loves my toes. Everytime I lay in bed with him, he goes straight for my toes. I'll jump in bed with him and try to cuddle he'll jump on my back and head over Mt. Evrest, to my thighs and attack my toes. He doesn't bite, it just tickles the sh*# out of me and I'm afraid I'm going to kick him in the head.
If I sit on the couch, I have to sit on my feet. If I have slippers on, he knows those little piggies are in there. So if I lay on the couch or bed, I have to lay with my feet on the floor. :aiwebs_01
Do your fids do this to and why?

Sincerely,
toeless in ohio

It's not just 'toos. Humphrey loves toes. He'll nibble them and dance for them. First we thought he just liked my toes because I have red toenails and lots of toe rings. Nope - he likes my husband's 'plain' toes, too. I don't get it.

I have conures that stalk toes. With My U2 it is socks. From the time she was a baby white socks were meant to be bitten. Lord help the toes inside. She is fine with bare feet or any other color socks. Just white ones set her off.

Maia also loves toes. Anyones. She dances and nibbles and tickles too. Drives me up a wall! My cockatiel I had as a kid did it too.
So why is that?
The shape? Size? Aroma? Pheremones?
Very weird - glad it's not just me. :icon_smil

Toes

My U2 attacks my wifes toes. Also her shoes. She attacks and bites. She doesn't bother mine.

I'm her "mate".

Talking

My tiels talk and sing to my toes, but get real excited when I wear white socks.

My caique loves to stand on the end of my toes and tickle them with her toes.

Feet and toes seem to be an obsession in this house. All the birds love my husbands smelly tennis shoes.

Go figure!
