Very excited!! One more sleep!!

With a bit of creative accounting and good luck finding a breeder in my area who doesnt charge steep prices for his birds! I am bringing my new ekkie date forward by at least 4 weeks!!

So excited! I am getting a male ekkie to pair up with my girl lexie. I dont know how pleased she will be about this arranged marriage as she is queen of the roost and very bonded to me. Also very used to getting all of the attention and cuddles, so will be interesting how this new introduction will go. Part of me doesnt want to take any of my time away from big Al but the other part thats wanted a pair of them for so long is going to win! I have enough love for both of them, though might encourage my husband to play a bigger part with the new one. If not not to worry Alexis will cope, she is after all and always will be my number one girl!!! Bought her some banana chips today to ease the pain!! She'd choose food over me anyday!!

Anyways two possible names for him, ekkie thump or booger! Will post heaps of pics. He has just been weaned and Al is probably six months old now so not much of an age difference, they can grow up together and hopefully one day in the distant future we will have lots of little boogers!
