Would someone please tell my fids it's WAAYYY past their bedtime!

Anyone have one of those nights where the fids just won't go to bed?? I put everyone to bed at 10:00 like normal and aside from the babies usual squabbling about whose going to sleep where and my usual "Go to bed" a few times, everything was fine. Then about an hour later Moe, who is usually screaming if not in bed by 10, decided to start singing That lasted about 5 minutes and all was quiet again....or so I thought. It is now 1:38 am and the babies are PLAYING WITH THEIR TOYS in the dark This is the bad thing about having birds in your room The only good ones are Zeke and Sophie and the keets Oh, and Bugsy decided that 5 minutes ago was a great time to say his first word...HELLO! No one's made a sound but I told them to go to bed since they were playing and he said "Hello" and that's it. I really hope they don't think they are going to wake me up early tomorrow

LMAO.....I have the best mental image of what's going on. It's like kids when they have a slumber party....everyone is quiet, and one goes off, and they all join in. I think my favorite is Moe who kicked it all off with a song.

Don't ya just love them though.....come on seriously, I bet you're laying there listening and trying not to laugh out loud.....

I know exactly how you feel... Sunny sleeps in his carrier in my room at night, and every once in a while in the middle of the night I wake up to him having a full on conversation with himself. Mumbling, laughing, barking (yes, barking), "Skittles!", "boink!", "peekaboo!", "I got your beak!!".. It takes all my strength not to crack up!
And occasionally he does decide to do this at 6 in the morning. But at least he eventually goes back to sleep.

Im sorry I couldnt help but crack up at that. Luckily both Oscar and Petey sleep through the night, once they are covered, they dont make another peep until the sun is out good.
Its my cats that wake me up in the night.
It was good to have a good laugh this morning. :) I hope you were able to get some sleep though.

They didn't go to bed until almost 4 am!! It wasn't funny last night but now I can laugh about it. Although Zeke decided to wake me up by having a night fright this morning when he hasn't had one in months. So I woke up to Zeke and Sophie thrashing, which got Chloe and Moe going, which got the babies going and even the keets. Checked everyone over, Zeke broke a blood feather in his wing but it wasn't too bad and stopped bleeding right away. I'm making sure everyone is good and tired tonight, lol.
