How Many Shower with Their Birds?
Ace showers with me on a shower perch. I always showered with my birds growing up so nothing changed when Ace came along. Not to mention my 2 and a half year old daughter always gets in the shower with me, and insists Ace comes with us

Mika loves the shower - I bring her with me about once a week. Stewie prefers bathing in his water dish on his own schedule.

Chirpy loves to sit on my shoulder and bathe in the spray whist my other half is in the shower. I don't love it so much as I get soaking sitting on the edge of the bath!! Going to get one of those stick on shower perches to try.

Hera showers with me. She is CRAZY. Before she goes in, she screams "Nooooooooooo!" as if someone was dying... but as soon as the water starts, she has a blast. And a mirror is across from the shower, so the entire time she talks to herself and calls herself a pretty bird. Whenever she sees her reflection, she always tries to show off... and when she's showing off in the shower... it can make things quite humerous to say the least!!

Petie the p'let has been with me a week and a half. So far he has negotiated all the changed without much fuss. i decided to try the shower today. I took the top piece from his little travel cage and put it on the bootm of the tub farthest away from the direct flow but so he would still get some of the spray. He perched there and took it but he didn't seem thrilled. At one point he thought he should try to fly to me (he's clipped) so he only accomplished getting completely drenched. He didn't look impressed but at no time did he freak out. Once I got out of the shower, I grabbed a towel and scooped him up and gave him some cuddles. He seemed okay after.

Awww Petie and Me, Petie probably didn't like being on the floor of the tub much. They are very vulnerable being so low and he was probably already uncomfortable from being down there that he couldn't really enjoy his shower. When you get the chance, try a shower perch and put it about level with your head/shoulders, see if that helps!
