Breeders of Finches in Lakeland Florida

Hi my name is Monika and I am new here. Does anyone know of any breeders of Finches in the Lakeland Florida area? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Monika

check the breeder directery in birdtalk magazine. Cal. and Fl have the most listings. i'm sure it won't be that hard for you. what species are you looing for? your local bird club would also be able to help.

my zebra's are currently sitting on 4 chicks who are about 2 week old. if i were in hte area, i would be more than happy to sell them to you, but i don't ship...lol

god luck finding them. gouldians and zebras are, imo, the easiest finches to find. zebras, because they're so small, active, and just plain popular,. gouldians, because they are colorful, "easy breeders", colorful, sound nice, colorful, and did i say, colorful? they are outragesly expensive tho. almost 80 dollars for one normal bird at shows near me. i got all my zebras for either 5 dollars or free.

my babies are so cute looking. dad was a chestnut flanked white, maybe, and mom is a fawn. 3 of the babies are grey looking, should be fawns, and the last one is all white but his head is grey. i'm so anxcious to see what it looks like...lol

also try on the internet looking for finch breeders in your area. i can garentee you that if you go to a birdfair/show near you, they are going to have zebras and gouldians.

have fun!!!!
