POLL: If you could have any bird...

If you could have any bird you don't currently have (or even another of a kind you already do), and money was no object, which bird would it be?

But let's make it a little more complex then that- whatever bird you choose MUST be able to fit inside your current lifestyle.

What would you call your new baby? Any partocular breeder you'd love to get that little adorable pile of pin-feathers from?

Looking forward to seeing what everyone things!

We recently went to a friend's house who has a new addition! A toucan! It was crazy! This bird likes scritches, purred, and hopped around his cage. While my house would be hard pressed to fit him into my lifestyle- I'd throw out the couch for a bird like that- he was BEAUTIFUL!!!!

:D

I had to use other because I think it would be a blue headed pionus. There's one at the shop I love. The other bird I'd love to have is a Greenwing Macaw but that was disqualified because I'd have no room for it in my current living situation.

The bird: A blue throated macaw
The breeder: Wendy's Parrots in Texas or Caraparrots in Illinois
The name: It would depend on the baby's sex and personality.
I'd, also, love a female yellow nape amazon and another male eclectus.

I really want a Hawk Head parrot. They are awesome. I have had the pleasure of spending time with one and found it too hard not to bring him home. Just didnt have the room. But that will be the next one should in the future "room" not be an issue. I want to name him "Tony" or "Hudson"... i know you can laugh how original LOL.

A Raven of any legal species. Don't know any breeders, I haven't looked because I don't have the money, but since money is no issue... I'd call him something celtic or gaelic, like Ashling's name is. He'd have a big long inside cage with lots of toys and puzzles to play with and also an outdoor aviary with non toxic plants, a small tree, a pond, toys, many perches and a wide variety of food such as rats, day old chicks, meat, pellets, vegetables and fruits. When I had him out for play times, I could put my four parrots in there for some sunshine and fresh air. I'd teach him recall and take him for flights in large buildings (school gym maybe?) Or I could enroll in a raptor club and they could help me train him to fly outside and return. Ahh I can imagine it all. *Dreams*

Ooh I would love to have a black palm cockatoo, ooh but $10,000 really hits hard along with a specialized diet
I would love to just hold one

I would also love to have a yellow-sided green cheek conure, I would get one from my local kahoots, and the breeder they get their babies from does a phenomenal job socializing them

I would also like a Cuban amazon, I would get one here Lima Exotic Birds - Cuban Amazons but you have to have a permit to take them out of state which is a pain, and they are also not friendly on the wallet

I would also love to have a blue mutation eclectus
Eclectus but I would prefer the dark flight feather blue though, they are the only breeder I know of to get them

A Finnish Goshawk. I'd love to take up falconry! My ex did it, but I didn't fly his bird, though I got to cart the stuff to and fro. Beaaautiful birds.
