not claiming to be the truth, but i'm a little confused why it's such a big deal if somebody asks for a photo. my first thought would be that the guy is very proper and polite for asking (many people don't). personally, i've asked people for copies of posters and photos and reactions schemes before, and usually got those as i asked politely.
if another member asks politely if s/he could use a photo of your bird, why not just say "no" if you don't want to?! or am i misinterpreting the situation (maybe there's yet another language barrier - i'm Austrian, so English is not my first language either) edit: i also don't understand what moderators are supposed to do as this is a personal decision - we're not tracking pm's that are being sent here, and as long as there is no violation to the rules, i'm not sure what we're expected to do....
