New birdy pics

Picked up Booger on Saturday. But alas, it was not love at first sight. Alexis hates him!!! She's a bossy fiery little red head!! They are in separate cages but both spend most of the time out of the cage when Im home. They will have little scraps and clash beaks every now and then, but generally it is ok. He will usually back off or she will go off and harrass some other poor indoor animal!

It was worse the first day, but getting a little less aggressive as each day goes by. Has anyone else experienced this with ekkies?? Does it take long for them to sort themselves out?

The house I bought him from was amazing. It was on a large property and he bred macaws and alexandrines as well. The macaw enclosures were amazing. They were huge. One of them had 10 babies in it and they all came down for a scratch, they were adorable. The green wing enclosure was so impressive. IT was on stilts and high up in the trees, I was in awe!! I pleaded with him to adopt me or employ me, just let me stayyyyyyy!!

Boogers a sweetie, a bit nippy with me, but will step up after he's taken a bite out of me and happy to sit on my shoulder. Alexis and I bonded immediately, I really hope booger grows to like me too. But guess its a bit much for him to take in at the moment. He's got a healthy appetite, he's a porker!!
