Lovebird breeding: Eggs that don't hatch?

We are attempting to breed a pair of peach faced lovebirds and are getting fertile eggs, but they don't seem to ever hatch and then eventually the female will throw them out of the nest box. Could someone with experience give me some suggestions. I currently have 4 fertile eggs that are due to hatch in the next 3-5 days and would like to know what I should do if anything.

Possibly dead in shell, mother is not incubating correctly, she is not turning the eggs when needed, or lack of calcium/too much... I'm not really sure thought I thought I'd just thought a couple thoughts out there...

Thanks to those who responded to my question. I have an udate: Today we have in the nest box what appears to be about a 2 day old baby lovebird. I made no changes to diet or supplements, because I was doing everything that was supposed to be right. I am chalking the unhatched eggs up to the inexperience of the parents. Hopefully everything will proceed well from here.

Congratulations! Excellent post Heather, thanks. You may also need to make sure the humidity is higher. In the winter, we tend to have very dry houses. That can interfere with egg hatching.
