Parrot comparrison chart!

I thought this might help those that are wondering what parrot might be right for them. It is a generalization only... we all have known African Greys that never talked and Cockatoos that would rather rip your finger off and use it to pet themselves than to have you do it the normal way!

Parrot Species Comparison Chart ….Compare The Most Popular Parrot Species!

AHA HA HA HA, Mine are the longest living one's! lets see, if they live to 80 teal (macaw) has 72 more years, and Ellie(U2) has 70 more years to live! That would make me 70 years from now 103!!!

"103!" thats not that bad? Most of my relative on my Dad's side live to close to 110. Depending on your genetics you will have 7 years birds-free

I wonder about the criteria used for the ratings though.
Especially the "noise level" column because that chart says our WCP is the same noise level as a Military Macaw....
Now I'll admit she can get fairly loud with the screeches on rare occassion, but Gracie as overall loud as a Mil????
not on her BEST day!

I think they mean potential. As in... if each bird screamed in it's natural voice as loud as was usual, how loud would that be?

Don't look at me, I just posted it. LOL

For instance, I think there is a difference between "loud" and "annoying". To me... I will take the occasional "loud" outburst any day over the incessant whistle-chirp of a tiel or the cheep of a quaker! And if you want to drive me insane... put me in a whole room full of budgies! It is the pitch and frequency that annoys me more than the decibels.
