Question proud moma of a B&G......but what next....

i have worked with all types of birds. i have a particular fond to out of all the birds i have had/worked with love my blue and gold, his name is baby huey! but i loved my peanut (myers parrot) im thinking about getting another myers or i was wanting to know more info on the Caiques? Ive never had a caique. nor do i know how to say it to be honest with yall. help me out on this one guys i wanna learn and know stories of yalls cauques exp. i need to know if a caique will be a good bird with my lifestyle. i guesss if i can handle a b&g i could handle a little caique.? right? let me know guys.

I dont know much about the birds you are asking about but I just had to say I absolutely love the pics of your B&G...that is just too adorable. He just has a look of "what can I get into now" written all over his beak hehee

I don't have a caique but based on the ones I've known I think they would wear me out. They're non-stop energy and want to play constantly. I do wish I had one though but I think I've reached my limit with birds.

There was a pet store in my area that had two B&G's, an African Grey, and a caique all on the same play gym. The B&G and the caique would play together constantly and (although not sure how safe that was) it was the cutest sight. You could watch them endlessly, hanging upside down and wrestling. There's nothing like the sight of two birds that love each other's companionship.

Nandays are loud, but they're awesome companions. Probably a similar attitude to your B&G, in a smaller package - but they don't know it!
