Exclamation Is this normal cockatiel sleeping behavior??

okay I cover my cockatiel cage every night on all sides except one at 7:00pm. then at around 8:30am i take off the cover of his cage. he starts playing and its now 10:00 and he just took a 30 minute nap is this normal or no.

here are some pictures.

in the picture you cant see the toys. most of them or to the right in the picture and under where he is. he has at least 15 toys in his cage but you can only see about 2 or 3.

Tucking their heads is a sign of contentment. Both Oscar and Petey sleep like that. Oscar and Petey both take naps throughout the day. I love it when they have a foot up and their head tucked like that, its so darn cute.
Petrie is just fine :) he probably played hard when he first got up.

It's perfectly fine. All 6 of mine will take a mid-morning nap. I think it recharges their batteries so that they can keep us on our toes!!!
