Birdie Mom for 3 Weeks

Petie has been with me for 3 weeks and it has been amazing. Mornigs are my favorite. We have cereal and banana together (Petie perches on the edge of my bowl and helps himself) and read/poop the paper. Then we go have a read on the computer and at this time Petie likes to tuck under my chin for a cuddle. Last night was traumatic! I was putting food into his cage but he wastn't allowed out. The little scamp decided to try and get out anyway. I quickly closed the cage door but low and behold his little foot must have been in the way 'cause he started screaming. I quickly opened the door and Petie leapt onto me and ran under my chin for cuddles. Luckily he is no worse for wear.

Aww that sounds perfect. Cuddles are the best. How old is Petie? I gotta get up earlier so I can spend mornings with my bub. Don't let your baby get any milk from the cereal! ;)

He's 12 weeks old. No worries about his little foot, it wasn't swollen and later he was preening his feet with no issues. No worries with the milk, the tiny bit he gets doesn't amount to a measure. He is far more interested in throwing it about then actually consuming it but that is his idea of having breakfast with me
