"Chicken House" progress
Here is a picture of Diega on her new boing. She wore out her other one! The birdroom is almost complete. The plumbers are coming in tomorrow to hook up the sink and stuff. The only thing left on the inside is finishing the floor. It's such a great birdroom! I sure do love my contractor hubby!

Sherri,
that's an awesome idea (how you have the boing hanging). I want some sort of swing for my future fids, but I don't want them hanging so high that they would be over my head. I like how you have that set up. I can't wait to see the completed room.

Yes, it is our dream birdroom. My husband (and Diega of course) has done a great job designing and building it. It is an "add on" to the house that we can access from my husbands home office or from an outside door. It is about 14' x 20' in size with a tall ceiling to accomodate the swings and boings. I plan to have about 3 or 4 birds in this room. The 'tiels will have a play area here but they will still reside in the living room area.

Congrats on your "chicken house" it is beautiful!!! I'd love your hubby as a contractor too! Much as I love mine he isn't very handy with building LOL!!! When we met he said he was jealous because I had a bigger tool box than he did! Can't wait to see more pics of your beautiful fids in their terrific new room!
