Strange Dance. . .mating behavior or hexing the house?

So, Scarlett, my 12 year old vos ekkie, has recently started a new behavior. And it is HILARIOUS. But we have no idea what it means!!

She only does it on her cage. She spreads her feet apart, crouches low, picks her wings up high without unfolding them, and begins swaying from side to side (if she's on her perch) or taking really exaggerated steps (if she's on her play-top). The entire time she's doing this, she is mumbling like a robot. No real words, just a quiet "gurdy vurdy" kind of noise that keeps going. At the end of her mumble, she stands straight up and goes "ahoo, ahoo, ahoo!" in a high-pitched voice, and then goes back to squatting, dancing, and mumbling.

We're from New Orleans, and hubby thinks she's picked up voodoo and is hexing us and the house.

I thought it might be a mting behavior, but we can go right up to her while she's doing this, and she won't turn and "present" or anything.

Ideas?

As soon as our camera gets fixed, I'll work on that. I'll have to walk away so you can't hear me laughing

Not knowing anything about ekkies, I'm going to go with she picked up voodoo somewhere. Very funny.

Definitely voodoo. When she gets into the liquor and starts spitting it out at things, then run for your life! She means business! hehe

Maybe she thinks she's a cockatoo? Seems like the sort of silly thing you always see 'toos do. =)

Interesting, she DID get close to a rescued U2 we rehabbed and rehomed for a bit 7 years ago. . . .but it's a bit of a delayed response if that's where she picked it up!
