Thanks everyone for the replies. Im pretty sure that it was a turquoisine. They are beautiful. How are they as pets?

Top of the page is a female scarlet chested. There is one on my website as well.

Not sure... I've read some accounts that say grass 'keets are generally better suited for aviary life. That said, I've heard that hand-raised Bourkes can make excellent pets.

Personally, I think that any parrot species has the potential to be a human-interactive pet.

I think that the turqs are really lovely as well. I saw one recently and it had the SWEETEST face
