hello, i was e-mailing because i have a cockatoo that i rescued from
an elderly man who was going into a nursing home, the bird is 25 yrs
old, he plucks his feathers out, the man said hes always done this. i
have four other pets and the bird is just to much for me to keep,he
needs more attention then i can give him, i really need help if you
know someone who takes in birds in my area i would really appreciate
it, i lve in baltimore county, thank you

I have never known them to turn down a rescue and they are incredibly experienced, reputable, and caring when it come to rehabilitation of parrots in trouble.
She could rest assured that he would be in the best possible care with them.

I may know someone who might take it in MD. She already has a rescued cockatoo plucker and a scarlet macaw. I will check with her. If anyone has any more info please let me know.
