Is nutmeg safe for birds?

????I made a batch of birdy bread and put nutmeg instead of cinnamon by accident, should I just throw it out?

Even though I have heard that it is safe, and even in bird recipes, nutmeg is on the list of unsafe plants for birds: BirdsnWays - Plants Poisonous to Pet birds, Pet Parrots & Exotic Birds - Poisonous trees, bushes

So, I guess I would be safe and say not to use it.

Dont use allspice either as it comes from the same fruit.
