Hi' I have finally managed to get all the fixing for two play gyms. My question is do you use screws to secure the pipe or some kind of glue. Also do you sand the pipe for better grip. Since my two Goffins don't really like each other I've deceided to make hanging gyms that hang over their individual cages can anyone see a problem developing with this way of doing it. Thanks Joan

Hi Cheeky,
You might want to try wrapping the "pipe" with vet wrap to help them with their grip. It's the same stuff that horse owners use to wrap their tails. Generally, I like the idea of hanging the play gyms over their cages. But one thing that I would worry about is height aggression. I know there are several people that have chains hanging from their ceilings as well as toys, swings, boings, etc. I don't know how they get around this problem other than with excellent training. Good luck with everything (btw, I love Goffins too). have a grey't day |
