Talking Getting a new birdy!!!

Well, hopefully, lol. I went and saw him today and he is cute as can be and a total sweetheart. I went to get Cassie's beak trimmed and she showed me all her birds and I fell in love with this one. She said she does not have him advertised so he's not going anywhere and I can let her know in a couple of weeks. I already know I want him but I need to wait and see what the test results are on the rescues before I make any commitment. Not only that but they need to be out of quarentine first or I will have no where to put the new bird.
I also have 2 possible homes for 2 of the rescues when they are ready to go so that will be great!

In case you haven't noticed, this is another "guess what kind" thread All I'm going to say is that I have been looking for one of these for so long but they are VERY hard to find here. Oh, and it is bigger than a cockatiel

You have a severe case of MBS! I haven't a guess on what type of bird it could be.

Well, this bird will actually be my Grandma's bird....only I will be caring for it, cleaning up after it and pretty much paying for it. Go figure, lol. Basically it will live with her and she will be interacting with it. She lives next door though so it's not a big deal, lol. She just wants me to keep it for a couple weeks since I know what to look for as far as illness is more than she does.

No, not an Eclectus although I met my first male and female ekkies in person today and I have to say if I ever get one, a male would be my choice (nothing against the girls). He was the cutest thing and I couldn't get over the GREEN!

Nope, not a sun. I would love a sun but they are way to LOUD for me! Yes, it is a pionus...a white capped. Cute as a button and sweet as pie, lol. I wanted to take him home with me right then but I need to wait and hear back from the vet in case the tiels need more vet care. They are my priority right now but I should hear back from the vet tomorrow so I'm praying that they are ok. (and not just so I can get this bird).
