Calcium Plus, How much do I use in water dish?

I recently bought some Calcium Plus but I'm confused as to how much to use. The directions say the following:
"Add four teaspoons of CALCIUM PLUS per quart of drinking water, or one teaspoon per cup of fruits, vegetables, soaked seed, or softfood, or administer directly to the bird at the rate of one drop per two ounces of body weight."

Is it okay to use just one teaspoon per cup of water? I'll be using it for Jasper, my GCC and for my finches (the finches share one water dish).

Under normal conditions, how often do y'all recommend giving the Calcium Plus?

Thanks In Advance,
Tina

I'm not sure how often to give it but if you break it down then it would be one teaspoon per cup of water.
