Talking Funny/cute story

The day before yesterday (Monday), My parakeet, Tweety decided to be funny.
he continually said hi about 30 times, with me answering back each time. He said Hi again. I told him "okay I got the point." In response he said it another 20 times.

I covered the cgae and he did a quiet squak and softly said hi.

It was the funniest, cutiest thing hes done so far, We have had him almost 2 weeks now and its the greatest. I haven't had a bird since age 7. The reason we decided to have a pet was to help me get over the mourning of my beloved german shepard, Billy who passed in January.

Tweety loves his daddy, Curt, Curt whistles the theme song from Cops and Tweety dances and sometimes joins in. We've decided to get another parakeet Friday (if the one we really want is still there)

My macaw will also say a word over and over and over. Then when I finally hear it enough and tell him to "stow it" he will then sit on his cage and whisper all his words! I crack up laughing every time.
Or when he is practicing old words and new one's he says them softly!

Thats really cute. I'm up at 5am to make Curts lunch and Tweety will wait until I start before he wants out. He paces back and forth real fast and whistle as loud as he can. Cracks me up. I will lay on the floor in front of him and he will try to dart into the kitchen (where he knows he's not allowed) I'll black him with my arm and he bobbles his head around like hes saying "you did not just go there"

Oscar my lorikeet goes through stages of saying her name about a million times. I'll say to her "I know what your name is" and she'll say Oscar, again. She's so cute. I think she's learning new words, but cant quite make them out just yet. She amazes me with her new whistles and sounds everyday too. I swear she said "ah-choo" the other day after I sneezed. Gotta love our fids

My scaley breasted lorikeet is the best mimic. He says Hello Hector, whatcha doin?, shut up, I love you I love you. Funniest of all though is he copies every sound he hears. He unstacks the dishwasher, the doors opening, coughing, laughing, burping and meows. Amazes me how quickly he picks things up
