I dont put anything in my birds water.. they can go bad during the day.. I feed lots of fruits and veggies, whole grains, and a good seed/pellet mix. I dont think I need to add chemical vitamins. (yes I like zupreem, but I use Harrisons)

vits

its not wise to give vitamins through water.. specially if you are using tap water.. the minerals in water and other substance will just destroy the vitamins... and aside from that if you are feeding fruits which is moisture rich your bird will not drink that much so it will not still get that much vits, so its like throwing away money with the water... you can buy powder supplement, mix it with the fruits.. not with dry though as it will not stick to the food.

you should really consult your avain vet first before using vitamins. He might not need them.

it's just as bad to give too many vitamins that to be vitamin deficient. in humans and dogs the water soluble vitamins will just pass through while the fat soluble ones will be stored, causing issues in the body. not sure if it's the same for birds but yeah, i don't use vitamin supplements.. unless you really know what you're doing, it's not worth the risk.

My vet suggested "The Missing Link" Avian. It is a powder, and I can put some of it in a tupperware container with lafabers nutirberries (ya gotta look those up - they are a foot toy and complete balanced food all in one). I shake it up and the Missing link sticks to them.
I have a conure that is new to our home and is vitamin deficient. With a good diet, and it sounds like your on the right track, your bird shouldn't be vitamin deficient. I agree with no vities in the water. Zupreem is good. Harrisons is very good. Your doing great!
